Bridstow School pupil, Elin Winstanley, who is nine-years-old, is excited to be taking part in Children in Need, 2018.

Elin will be having her hair shaved off on Friday, November 16th, which coincides with the day the Children in Need television programme will air.

She told the Ross Gazette: “I feel like this year I should play a part in Children in Need, so I’m going to shave my hair off. I’d like to raise as much money as possible for children who need help.”

Elin had to persuade her parents, especially her father, to allow her to have her curls shaved off but she is determined to do something special for Pudsey. She said: “The more I raise, the more children can be helped.”
