MADAM, I recently came across this photo of a rugby team of long ago and wondered if it would be of interest to you. The player on the far left as you look at the photo is Percy J Davies, my uncle. I believe he was generally refered to as PJ.

While I don't suppose any of the team are alive today, some of their descendants or some of your old parishioners might recognise a few of them. It might help if I say my grand parents Mr and Mrs RH Davies were teachers and lived at Orcop, in the early 1900, and moved to Weston under Penyard in 1910.
