Tim Ingram from Longhope was the lucky winner of the £1,000 prize in the free raffle organised by the Association of Ross Traders last Christmas.

Around 40 shops and businesses funded the prize as a way of saying thank you to their customers. Over 6,000 tickets were distributed and shoppers from far and wide were delighted to be given the chance to win the fantastic prize.

Both Tim Ingram and his wife are frequent shoppers in Ross and they spoke about the great range of shops, the convenience and the help they receive from local shopkeepers.
