A GROUP of 43 Ross skittlers enjoyed a wonderful weekend in competition at Bideford. It was fun and laughter all the time, starting on the coach journey down, with presents and banter from Di Davies. Four Ross teams entered the competition, the Motley CrewA & B, Charlie's Angels & Charlie's Devils. Charlie's Angels came home with the trophy for the highest scoring Ladies' team in the competition. Charlie's Devils got through to the final, they lost but brought home a trophy. Lin Lewis, who plays for Charlie's Angels, won the Trophy for the highest Ladies' score in the competition, achieving 55 over the five legs. Saturday night was fancy dress night, and the girls dressed up, with Charlie's Angels as Hells Angels and some of Motley Crew (The Larks) as Spanish Gypsy girls. The group returned on Sunday evening, tired and exhausted, but so glad they had taken part. They are all looking forward to the next one.
