Ross Town council is inviting residents to take part in Ross In Bloom, an initiative designed to bring the community together to enhance the town’s appearance and environment. The first meeting, held October 8, brought together local residents and volunteers eager to contribute their time and ideas to help make Ross-on-Wye flourish. The session encouraged discussion around potential improvement projects around the town, as well as a proposed colour theme for planting and displays. Ross In Bloom is built around three core themes: • Community – bringing people together • Horticulture – enjoying plants and green spaces • Environment – caring for the town and its surroundings This is an ongoing initiative aimed at maintaining and improving Ross through the enthusiasm, energy and skills of local volunteers. It offers an opportunity for residents to meet others, take an active role in community life and contribute to the continued improvement of the town. The next Ross In Bloom get together will take place on Wednesday, October 22 at 7pm at Ross Town Hall, HR9 7AN. Refreshments will be provided and all are welcome to attend. Those unable to attend but wishing to get involved are encouraged to contact Ross Town Council by emailing [email protected].
