Ross Juniors Under 15's took part in the prestigious Mitcheldean tournament fielding two strong teams and both teams made it all the way to the finals.
The initial league phase saw the Ross A side was totally dominant producing two superb wins and remained undefeated against very strong opposition including Credenhill, Forest Rangers, Fownhope and two Cheltenham teams. Ross A topped their group and met Ruardean in the semi-finals.
The Ross B team was excellent with a series of superb performances against a very strong Forest Rangers team, Cheltenham Saracens and Ruardean, the highlight of which was a commanding performance against local rivals Fownhope. Ross B also topped their group and met Credenhill in the semi-final.
In the first semi-final Ross B created chances but lost out to a goal from Credenhill. Ross A dominated their semi-finals and despite going one down triumphed in extra time with the winner from James(D). Despite a determined performance in the final, Ross A lost out in the dying seconds to a very good Credenhill team.
Both teams' performances were brilliant and all the squad made valuable contributions. A very well done to the whole squad. The level of commitment and skill was excellent.
