Councillors Anne Gray and Phil Cutter are delighted that there will be two new pedestrian crossings and new bus shelters in addition to many other improvements Morrisons Supermarket is planning at its Ross site.

As well as pedestrian walkways, cycle and motorcycle parking, improved entry, exit and circulation at Station Street access, and provision for all service vehicle manoeuvring to be contained within the new service yard, off-site works will also be provided by Morrisons.

These include the provision of bus shelters and improvements to the kerbs at the two existing bus stops outside the store on Station Street, the provision of two zebra crossings, one on Station Street and one on Millpond Street, and dropped kerbways at several sites.

Councillor Phil Cutter told The Ross Gazette:?"I am delighted that as local members Councillor Anne Gray and myself have worked together with the planners and Morrisons to achieve this result. The supermarket has agreed to a lot of improvements and I think Ross is getting a very good deal."
