Colleagues from the Ross-on-Wye branch of Sainsbury’s have recently donated a copy of FIFA 16 to a locally based charity, the Basement Youth Trust.
The Basement Youth Trust were the store’s Local Charity Partner last year and one of the activities available to the young people who attend the weekly sessions is a games console which they can use.
The game, which was donated through the store’s Community Budget, will be available for young people to play at the drop-in sessions which are run at The Venue by qualified Youth Workers.
Abby Jones, PR Ambassador at Sainsbury’s said: “When we started selling video games, we straight away thought of Basement Youth Trust and how the young people might like a donation of a new game.
“When we went to drop off the game everyone was so excited so we are pleased that this donation will keep the young people entertained, particularly over the winter months.”
