Just over a thousand children received a free gift from Father Christmas on Saturday.

The weather was ideal for the crowds who turned out to see Father Christmas at the annual Ross Christmas Carnival.

Ross Lions and Carnival committee members spent hours packing hundreds of goodie bags for the waiting children. They were thrilled to see Santa who arrived with Shaun the sheep on his float.
