This term, staff at Walford Nursery and Primary School were delighted and honoured to attend a celebratory 2021 Parliamentary Review Gala evening at the Mayor’s Mansion House in London.
Ms Louise George, Headteacher, and Mrs Emma Hanham, Deputy Headteacher, joined a small number of thriving schools and businesses which had been recognised in this prestigious annual publication.
The school, ranked 84th in The Times top 100 primaries in the country embodies a ’can do’ attitude. Ms George said, "It is wonderful to be recognised for best practice by the 2021 Parliamentary Review Team and it is a direct reflection of the hard work, passion and commitment demonstrated by every child, their family, staff, governors and the wider community of Walford."
The Chair of Governors, Paul Deneen added, "At Walford, we strive to secure the very best learning outcomes for every child, every day and are committed to improving the life chances for all of our pupils. The inspirational leadership, dedicated staff team together with hard working pupils and supportive families make Walford a very special place in which to lean and grow."
