There will be a free event at the Courtyard Theatre Foyer, Hereford on Saturday, February 4th, from 12am – 3.30pm for anyone interested in gardening.

From beginners to seasoned gardeners you are welcome to come along and swap seeds, plants and tips. Don’t worry if you have nothing to swap, you can still join in and take home some seeds or plants. Cash contributions gratefully received.

There will be a talk at 1.30pm from Adam Alexander on the “The Adventures of a Seed Detective”. Adam is a trustee of Garden Organic, a seed guardian and collector and self-confessed vegaholic.

There will be plant stalls, a tool sharpening service, children’s activities and refreshments (available from The Courtyard). Entrance is free.

Tools for Self Reliance charity will be there on the day to collect old tools, and will also be selling a wide range of their refurbished tools

The previous events have been great fun and people taking part have shared a vast array of seeds, tubers, bulbs and plants including many traditional vegetable varieties no longer on sale.
