A three month community project to refurbish the Ross-on-Wye Sports Club in Wilton has taken the venue a step closer to its aim of becoming a self funding sports and community venue for all.

The sports centre's main lounge has a new floor and the walls have been painted. There is also a pool table, a football table and a new bar. There is a lot of the Sports Club's original signage on display in the lounge, to ensure the history of the club is retained.

Although there are two main stakeholders of Ross Sports Club; Ross Cricket Club and Ross Juniors Football Club, everyone is welcome to use the facilities of the Sports Club.

For the full story, see it in this week's Ross Gazette.
