The annual Yarkhill Field to Fork Festival took place on Saturday, June 10th, and despite plans being in place for the predicted wet weather the sun shone down on the festival. This year the event was in aid of Strong Young Minds, who help 10-24 year olds with one to one support, employability training, brief intervention therapy, workshops and groups in addition to peer listening and support.
The Yarkhill Field to Fork Festival is a celebration of local food and drink from a small valley in rural Herefordshire. Showcasing the best local asparagus, cider and strawberries, amongst other locally produced fare, with live music, cooking demonstrations, meet the producers, competitions and tasting opportunities, the festival was a fun day for all ages.
