Dear Editor,

The residents of the Gresleys would like to thank everyone who came along and supported our 9th Christmas lights switch-on event held on Sunday, December 6th. Neighbours, friends and family worked very hard, giving their time and donations making it a very successful evening and our busiest yet.

A big thank you to the Oddfellows Society, Morrisons, GlaxsoSmithKline, Costa Coffee, PGL, Tudor Sweets and Audrey’s Fish Bar for their very generous donations.

We will be donating £600 to each of our three chosen charities, Sophie May – Kidney Research UK, Rocky-Lees Little Feet and the Ross-on-Wye MS Group.

Congratulations to Elizabeth Moses for guessing the correct weight of the cake and T Coles for guessing how many wrist bands in the jar. The lucky winners of ‘hunt the hampers’ were Peter Evans, Richard Ashcroft, Maureen Lewis, Ben Champness and Penny White.
