Members of the Monmouth and District Branch of the British Sugarcraft Guild enjoyed a very successful workshop in Ross-on-Wye recently.
The topic was painting on cakes and was hosted by Sarah Jones of Chocolate Strawberry. People attending learnt how to paint a peony, with leaves and buds, and an allium flower and were surprised at how effective this new technique is.
The branch runs workshops in Ross-on-Wye periodically, and holds monthly demonstration meetings at Ty Price Hall, Monmouth on the third Wednesday of each month starting at 7.30pm. Members have a range of cake decorating and sugarcraft skills and attend from throughout Monmouthshire, Ross-on-Wye, Cwmbran and the surrounding areas.
The branch would welcome new members; for more information please contact them by email at Monmouth[email protected] or find them on Facebook at Monmouth and District Cake Decorating and Sugarcraft Club.
