MADAM, There are few people unaware of the charity. Help For Heroes which, through public fund-raising, provides additional facilities for the care of our troops wounded in war.
The horrors of the continuing sharp rise in casualties returning home from Afghanistan places an escalating burden on the charity's resources.
I strongly believe that Ross people would welcome an opportunity to "do their bit" in helping these brave men and women by supporting the Royal Forest of Dean Rotary Club in its fund-raising for the charity.
Forest Rotarians will be collecting outside the entrance to Morrison's Supermarket 9am - 5pm on Saturday, September 12th. Please help us with this worthwhile cause.
