Dear Editor,

I was disappointed to see a key cutting machine in Morrisons after their recent expansion.

I would have thought that Morrisons would be sympathetic to the local businesses in a small market town like Ross-on-Wye, especially since we have Timpsons, a dedicated and specialised key cutting business.

I put my trust in Timpsons and also have my watch batteries replaced there, but I would be concerned that this decision by the supermarket chain might damage future of another valued shop and local trader.

I would ask that Morrisons remove this machine and think again before adding something that may directly compete with a local shop.
