the Community Centre at Tudorville has been supported by many people and organisations since it opened at the beginning of 2011 and has worked hard to offer an improved centre to the people of Tudorville. Now, thanks to Herefordshire Housing Ltd, the committee is setting its sights on improving the play area outside as well.

As well as support and advice HHL leased the land for the new car park to the TDCC and paid for the plans to be drawn up for the ongoing improvements to the Centre. But as Sarah James, Customer Involvement Manager from HHL said:?"When we support the TDCC we know that we are helping to provide a facility that is to the benefit of our Tudorville residents".

Cooperation between HHL and TDCC has now moved on to even greater things.

HHL have now leased the play area adjacent to the Centre to the TDCC committee. Richard Woolley Director of Resources for HHL explained the logic behind the move. "The TDCC volunteers have shown what a great job they make of running the Centre so its good sense for us to hand over the day to day running of the play area to the control of the same local people. Working together we can reduce the costs and hopefully gain access to grants to improve the equipment".

Colin Gray, Chair of the TDCC management committee is delighted with the arrangement and full of praise for HHL. "It's fair to say that without HHL's backing the TDCC would not be the success it is today. And now with HHL helping us to take over the running of the Playarea we can look forward to improving the facilities for the benefit of everyone in Tudorville."
