THERE is increasing tension at the Town Cemetery in Tudorville this week. Several families contacted the Gazette, including sisters, Anna and Kayleigh Gwynne. They were saddened to have the kerbstone and chippings removed from their Grandmother's and Great Grandmother's graves and distressed when not notified of the changes. "We know we have to abide by the Cemetery rules, but their sudden removal has been upsetting especially with no notice," they told the Gazette. Their experience was shared by several others gathered at the cemetery on Tuesday afternoon. Other issues included gravestones being dumped, flower pots and vases being moved and items being damaged.
