Madam, may I through your letters page give a big thank you to Colin Grey and his hard working team for a fantastic Ross on Wye Country Music Festival over the weekend of July 8th, 9th and 10th.

For just £18 I had nineteen hours of great music by no less than six different artists plus a C &W disco in between acts. There were those who complained and criticised that there were no top artists, these cost money and I'm sure that Colin and his team are mindfull that in the climate we now live in people cannot afford to pay these prices. For just one top C&W artist to appear for just a few hours on one evening alone would have added about £30 to the ticket price.

Colin and his team have got it right, 'Good acts, Good music, Good venue at a Good price' and its all good for Ross. May they long continue to give a large group of people, from far and wide, a great weekend. The weather is out of their hands. Thank you Colin.
