Dear Editor,

I would like to thank Roger for his work in the first responder team, and thank you to the ambulance crew.

I went to Hereford Hospital with blue lights going and it was really frightening, and they were brilliant.

I’d like to thank Hereford Hospital for saving my life once again, and the intensive care nurses and the team in resus. They treated me very well.

I’d also like to thank my husband Cliff for being there and helping me, and our children, Jonathan, Kate, Matthew, Helen, Melanie, Steve, Daniel, Kalta, Peter, Louise, Helen, Ian, Christina, Colin, Maureen, Aaron and little Sean.

Thank you to my twelve grandchildren.

I’d also like to thank Kathy and Roger and my sister Paulette for being so considerate.

And thank you everyone for sending cards.

Thank you to my sister Antonia and Grantley, my brother-in-law, for doing our cooking for us, and thanks to Jill and my niece Sharon for asking about me.

Finally thank you to Dr Leeman from Pendeen Surgery in Ross-on-Wye.
