Madam, Ziggy and I would like to thank all the kind and generous people who have responded to his appeal on behalf of Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue.
The quantity of clean blankets, dog collars, bowls, animal bedding, toys etc; much of which are in 'as new' condition is quite phenomenal and far exceeds anything we could possibly have hoped for.
Ziggy plans to deliver a carload to Meadowbank Kennels, Hamnish, Leominster this week and due to the Ross Gazette readers' generosity a further delivery will follow shortly after.
We also express our sincere gratitude to all at Chaseview Veterinary Centre who have given up their time and space as a 'drop off centre' – without their help none of this would have been possible.
Finally, thank you to master photographer Philip Price for taking such an appealing photo of Ziggy and allowing him to use it to raise funds for his charity, Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue.
Very many thanks to you all, it has been a wonderful 'team' effort that will provide rescue animals with a bit of comfort in their lives and hope for their future.
