MADAM, I just wanted to say a huge huge thank you for the article in the Ross Gazette last week. It definitely raised awareness for the step up challenge in which we were raising money for our charity place in the 2013 London Marathon. The support we had was amazing and we raised over £170!
Thank you once again, it was very much appreciated.
Tasha Fewell, Ross
Madam, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of Wetherspoon's in Ross for all their help after my drink was spiked on Sunday, October 28th, especially Carl and Jasmine, and of course the paramedics.
Little has been done by the police to prevent drink spiking from happening, however, Wetherspoon's has not only been supportive and helpful, but the staff are undertaking actions to make people more aware of drink spiking.
Name and address supplied
Editor's note: The police advise people never to accept drinks from a stranger and only allow someone you trust to buy them. Don't leave your drink unattended and if a drink has an unusual taste, smell or appearance, then leave it.
