MADAM, I am writing to thank Councillor Andrew Atkinson for providing our estate with a bin which can be used for litter or used doggy bags. I and my family have lived at Verschoyle Gardens for 36 years and it has never had a litter bin, let alone a poopie bin, but now thanks to Councillor Atkinson we have.

He promised us a bin when I first contacted him in February and, though it has taken time, he has kept in touch to let me know the progress of this project and we had every faith in him despite what others have said.

He even came and installed the bin himself. Now let's hope everyone who walks their dog around our estate uses it. Thanks again Andrew – man of your word.
