Madam, May I and my husband, through your newspaper, thank most sincerely, all those who came to my assistance, when I fell heavily in Morrisons' carpark last Thursday evening.

It was beginning to rain and straight away a young lady gave me her coat to keep me warm. The same lady stayed with me whilst my husband loaded the groceries into our car.

Meanwhile it appears I passed out momentarily and sensibly the lady sent someone to ring for an ambulance. When my husband returned I had come round.

The staff at Morrisons could not have been more helpful and considerate. A paramedic arrived in a response car, carried out a thorough check, and thankfully no back up was needed.

We returned home very much shaken, with a bruised chin and a little bruised ego.

So many people wanted to help. I am much better and my faith in human kindness is restored.
