MADAM, My wife and I moved to Ross three years ago, and very much enjoy living in this lovely town. We are glad there are so many honest citizens here, as was evidenced on the morning of Saturday March 19th.

I inadvertently dropped my purse in Sainsbury's, and when I went back about an hour later I found that it (complete with all its contents) had been handed in to the Customer Services there. Through your letters page, I would like to thank that honest person (I don't know whether it was a customer or staff member) who did this. I am very grateful.
