OFFICIALS at Herefordshire Council face new accusations of misinforming the public this week, as some of the reasons they gave for a scheme to relocate key public services in Ross were called seriously into question.
In an embarrassing development just days after local residents and officials condemned the way the council has drawn up the scheme – according to many, without sufficient consultation – the council services' current landlord in Ross revealed that he had offered them "a cracking deal" to stay where they are.
