Local window cleaner and wildlife conservation supporter, Pete Barley has been visiting the Bifengxia panda base in China, and sharing his favourite newspaper with these amazing creatures.

Pete, from Walford, visited the base a couple of years ago as volunteer, and kept in touch with volunteer co-ordinator, Joseph Zhou.

Joseph made a visit to England last year and he met up with Pete in Ross-on-Wye before visiting friends in different parts of the country.

Pete then visited again this year to help as a volunteer.
