Dear Editor,

May we, through your pages, thank all the local residents who took part in Saturday’s litter pick.

The turn out was fantastic, with an impressive age range, from young children through to senior citizens. We would also like to thank those who stopped to lend a hand along the way, and to the regular dog walkers who constantly litter pick as they exercise their pets. It all makes a huge difference to the appearance of our beautiful town.

We were also encouraged with the offer of support for future events by Debbie McNally, Director from the Hope and Anchor.

Our next big clean-up is due to take place on Sunday, April 22nd, and there will be smaller events highlighted on our Facebook page - all are welcome.
