The 16th annual Ross-on-Wye Country Music Festival took place in glorious weather at the weekend.

Well over 120 caravans and motor homes were welcomed to the Sports Centre and there were also many local people who attended at different times of the weekend.

Despite the extreme heat many devoted followers of the festival were dressed in period costumes. Several vans were also transformed into replicas of the vehicles early settlers used to cross America. There was a great atmosphere as people joined in dancing to live music. All profits from the event will be presented to St Michael’s Hospice.
