Thunderstorms are expected throughout Herefordshire through today and tomorrow. There is currently a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms in place covering Herefordshire.

The weather warning has been in place since Monday, July 29th and is expected to finish on Wednesday, July 31st.

A The Met Office say further thunderstorms are likely with a chance of flooding in places, and possible travel disruption.

Dave Throup, Environment Agency manager for Herefordshire and Worcestershire, said: "Bands of heavy rain spiralling around a small low pressure system centred in the Channel moving into our patch now.

"Some torrential rain and thunderstorms later as system moves North East.

"Beware flash flooding."
