Eleven prestigious awards are up for grabs for Ross-on-Wye businesses and all they have to do is enter by 4pm on July 7th.

Ross-on-Wye Tourism Association are hoping that lots of local businesses will be shortlisted for the awards. The categories are: Best visitor attraction; Best hotel; Best guest accommodation; Best self-catering establishment; Best touring, camping and holiday park; Best community festival; Best commercial festival; Best conference venue; Best eating out premises; Best food producer; Best drinks producer.

The Ross-on-Wye Tourism Association is considering entering the town itself under the visitor attraction category.

“We are searching for the best tourism businesses in the county, and to celebrate what makes Herefordshire a unique and diverse visitor destination,” a Visit Herefordshire spokesperson explained.

Businesses can enter online or by completing the application form, which is available from the website: www.visitherefordshire.co.uk/awards.aspx

The first stage of judging is based on evaluations of the written applications only, which must be submitted by Friday, July 7th 2017 via email to [email protected] or post to Events Team, H&W Chamber of Commerce, Severn House, Prescott Drive, Worcester, WR4 9NE.

A shortlist of entrants will be selected from the written applications, supporting documentation will only be required as part of the judging process. Judging will take place between 17th – 29th July 2017.

All finalists will be presented with their Award or Certificate at the Visit Herefordshire and Visit Worcestershire Awards for Excellence Ceremony, being held at Malvern Theatres on Tuesday, September 19th 2017.
