Ross Town Reserves were away to Orcop in the league this week, playing at the leisure centre in Hereford. Sadly Ross were defeated 4 - 0.
After a fairly even start to the game Town were unlucky to concede first with a Leon Hill headed own goal from an Orcop corner. The Town heads were visibly lowered and were soon punished with a lucky Orcop corner once again, this time with the ball going straight in from the set piece.
A new Town emerged after the restart with a much greater percentage of the possession and some slick passing moves resulted in a good few clear-cut chances, with town unfortunate not to get themselves back into the game.
After half time Town were under great pressure and were unable to build on their positive finish to the first half. Another Orcop goal once again caused a drop in Towns morale and conceded once more before the finish to record a disappointing 4 - 0 defeat. Ross are at home to Holme Lacy in the HFA Junior cup this Saturday, November 15th, with a 2pm kick-off.
