Pet shop owner Chris Benwell is appealing to other local shop keepers to turn their premises orange to support the Soi Dog Foundation.
The charity will be hosting their second Guinness world record attempt for the most dogs in one place wearing a bandanna in Ross-on-Wye on Saturday, June 25th.
Chris has packs of balloons andbunting availabe free to anyone who would like to decorate their shop to show that Ross supports the world record attempt.
Currently the world record stands at 764 dogs, and it is hoped that with the support of dog lovers, not just from Ross, but across the UK, this record will be smashed.
And with so many visitors arriving in Ross that weekend for the event Chris hopes that the town will look as welcoming, and as orange, as possible.
