A second road traffic collision has taken place on the A49 today, March 11th.

Police were called at just after 9am this morning to a the three-vehicle collision by the King’s Thorn turn at Much Birch.

A milk tanker, a black Ford Ka and a white Sprinter van were involved and fire crews from Hereford and Ewyas Harold attended and made the scene safe.

The ambulance service were called at 9.23am. No injuries were reported although the female driver of the Ka was said to be very shaken.

Then at about 11am the road was partially blocked by a single car which was involved in a collision near to the Yew Tree Inn at Peterstow.

An ambulance crew which was passing the scene reported the incident to the police. There were no injuries reported.
