Madam, once again, a good turnout of people to honour the dead on Armistice Day in Ross. However this was devalued by traffic passing. Maybe it is time to honour our dead by stopping the traffic for just three to four minutes at the most.
I understand that every bus and taxi came to a standstill in Cheltenham to mark Armistice Day. This silence sends a message across the town. Stopping the traffic passing the memorial in Cinderford, on Remembrance Day has made a real difference.
So come on Ross give it some thought after all, the road is closed for the French market, which is the most important, I know.
