A man caused some concern yesterday afternoon when he entered a retirement home, and acted strangely. The man was unknown to the staff of the home.
The man walked into the garden of the retirement home in Overross Close yesterday (Monday, February 22nd) at approximately 2pm. He then entered the building via a side door, and stood in the lounge.
The man then wandered into the reception area, and a member of staff asked if she could help him.
He asked for directions to the toilet, and when he returned, the same member of staff asked a second time if she could help him.
The man then blurted out: "Sorry, I have to go." and he rushed out of the door.
The man was described as white; he spoke English, and it is estimated that he is approximately 30 years of age, 5ft7, thin, of a medium build, unshaven with dark brown hair. He was wearing a thick black puffa jacket, black jeans and glasses.
Police are making some enquiries into this incident. If you have any further information, please contact 101, and quote the reference: 0358-S-220216.
