Dear Editor,

I am not conversant with the local Facebook that can be found on computers, but hopefully the folk who sent me such uplifting messages via the pages will read the Ross Gazette.

Regarding the money, I was not looking for reimbursement, I would rather be the giver and not the receiver.

However, I shall accept the money with good grace and extend my sincere thanks to Andy Skinner who arranged it.

Thanks also to Pauline and Marcia, who truly are good friends, they keep an eye on me.

It is good to know there are still very nice people around.
