Red Nose Day has achieved a total so far of £75,107,851 – a record and the best 25th anniversary present Comic Relief could have hoped for.
This week Goodrich resident Mr Laurence Moss is visiting rural Uganda to monitor the Comic Relief funded project run by Monmouth-based Bees for Development, for whom he works.
The four year project is helping a Beekeepers' Cooperative in Kamwenge, South western Uganda, which encourages poor rural farmers to supplement their income by keeping bees to produce and sell honey and beeswax products.
