Technology giant Apple has made Walford primary school one of its Regional Training Centres (RTC).

The school is now recognised as knowledgable about Apple products and how to use them effectively in the classroom.

Walford school has been using Apple technology for two years, as iPads are used regularly in the classrooms. The school also wants to include the use of Macs in the future.

The Headteacher, Louise George said: "Gaining Apple RTC status is a real achievement and accolade.

"It means that Apple consider us a school with advanced knowledge and understanding of how to use their technology for learning effectively.
