Two Royal Navy Chief Petty Officers, Andy 'Gibbo' Gibbs, (HMS Collingwood) and Ty Stock (RNR SCOTIA) along with Andy Wellen, walked into Ross on Tuesday afternoon.

The trio are walking from Twickenham to Cardiff with the rugby match ball which will be used for the final game of the Six Nations in 2013 in order to raise money for Help for Heroes.

The walk began on March 8th and will finish in Cardiff on March 15th. Their route took them from Twickenham through Gloucester, Ross, Monmouth and Newport before arriving in Cardiff for 11am on Friday to be greeted by the WRU squad as they train, the day before the Wales v England game.

In 2011, Gibbo walked over 440 miles for Help for Heroes raising over £65,000. They started their charity page on January 1st, 2012, and have already raised £114,000 for Help for Heroes in just over three years.
