Madam, I have received many, many complaints regarding the issue of dog fouling in the Ross area and I am aware this letters page is no stranger to the subject.

I am writing to inform residents that I have met with the Herefordshire Council dog wardens and discussed the issue in depth. What we need is your help (residents), we need to know if you have a complaint, the times of day and where these offences take place.

Do you see someone regularly letting their dog foul but do not want to say anything for fear of intimidation? Please contact me and provide us, anonymously if necessary, with this information. Without this information it is very difficult for the wardens to know where to be and when.

Also if you spot dog mess please contact me as I can ask the street cleansing team to come out and remove it. Please contact me by email or telephone,
