The first ‘Ross Reinvented Festival’ took place at the weekend and the organisers were delighted with how successful it was, as both main events in Ross-on-Wye, were a sell out. The festival launched on Friday, March 15th with a toe tapping dance night. ‘The Mighty Pledge’ provided an irresistible call for the audience to get up and shake their funky stuff.

Then on Saturday the audience members were blown away by a spectacular performance by ‘The Orchestra Of The Swan’. This was an absolute treat for the ears and brain, and an opportunity to enjoy something unusual in Ross.

There was also a performance of ‘Hush Now Hidden Women’ by Feral Productions, in the town centre on Saturday afternoon.

The weekend continued on Sunday afternoon with a very well received children’s show by ‘Noisy Oyster’ at St Mary’s Church, followed by the launch of ‘The Lost Fountain’ up on the prospect.

You can now take your smart phone/tablet to The Prospect and see John Kyrle’s fountain for yourself in augmented reality.

CreateROSS who organised the festival were very happy with all the events that happened over the weekend and look forward to making The Ross Reinvented Festival a regular event.
