MADam, It was with great interest that I read the front page article about Gareth Robertshaw. He is such a nice chap.
I remember when, as St Mary's organist, he cheerfully gave his time when Brian Jackson put on the Sound of Music there. Gareth played the organ for the wedding scene. It was the most wonderful sound as Maria was picked up by the spot, and other lights, walking up the aisle.
This could never be reproduced in a stage show.
What a nice sister he has with Nina who accompanied him on his trip for the TV programme. I hope he is well on his way to recovery and wish him all the best.
