MADAM, many thanks to the Ross Gazette and the competition organisers for a wonderful weekend break to Dublin, that we won through Gazette's Christmas Cracker! It was a great prize to win and the craic was good!

We had a great time. The flight and hotel arrangements were perfect - we flew from Cardiff and the hotel was central to everything, being on the edge of the Temple Bar district, and was comfortable, with good food and evening entertainment - Irish music and dance. Dublin was vibrant and we had two full days before flying home, visting the Guiness brewery (of course) with its 360 degree viewing platform of the city, Grafton Street shopping, the Botanic gardens, and a train ride along the coast on the Dart system to the coastal town of Bray.
