This fabulous photograph was recently donated to the Ross Gazette by a local resident. However, we have no information about it.

It appears to be a club or group of some kind and the Gazette wonders if it was a celebration at either Ross Rowing Club or Ross Cricket Club.

The Rowing Club opened a new clubhouse on Tuesday, July 14th, 1908 and the Cricket Club which was founded in 1837. The club’s historic pavilion was built in 1887.
