Children who live in Old Market Close are often seen playing in the green space behind their homes. Now residents of the close are concerned that they will lose this area if plans by the Housing Association which owns their properties and the ground is successful in obtaining planning permission.

The residents all received a letter from Herefordshire Council informing them that Festival Housing, which owns their homes, is planning to build nine more homes in the grounds. They immediately set about planning their opposition. Full story in this week's Gazette.
