Heavy rain and strong winds caused damage across the area all over the festive break. Fortunately there were no occupants in this caravan in Weston under Penyard when a tree crashed into it during the storm on Friday, December 27th. With more bad weather forecast motorists should be aware that there may be more fallen trees.

Rising river levels have also given cause for concern. The Environment Agency has issued a flood alert for the River Wye between Hereford and Ross with water levels expected to peak on Friday morning (January 3rd).
