THE Ross boys made it six wins in a row last Saturday with a convincing victory over Lads Club at Widemarsh Common. On a very small pitch Ross started brightly with Rohan hitting a great shot from 20 yards out into the top corner. The goals followed with Tommy, Rohan and then Tommy again scoring to make it 4-0 at half time.
Lads Club came out after half time and showed far more grit and determination and the game was more evenly balanced. This was until Tommy danced through their defence on a mazy run to score the goal of the game and get his hatrick. Lad club scored a good goal themselves before Ross stepped up a gear with captain Harry scoring. Rohan completing his first hatrick for the club, Tommy scoring his fourth and a great finish from Luke to make it 9-1 to Ross.
