Earlier this year the Ross Gazette featured a new novel by an American author set in Ross-on-Wye.
The author of Lady of The Wye, Frances Powell started reading the Ross Gazette online to keep up to date with the happenings in an area she has known, and loved for 35 years.
When she saw an article about a new lending library in a disused phone box at Wormelow she contacted the Gazette. She asked for the details and then sent a copy of her book to Rosemary Rigby. Miss Rigby was delighted to receive the book and said it would be a lovely addition to their stock.
The Library is proving very popular but is in need of some new stock. As this is Christmas she wondered if anyone had any hardback books they had been given as presents during the previous year they could donate. Please take any donations to the garage at Wormelow.
